Attorney Chuck Bretz and our longtime client achieved a not guilty verdict in court following a bench trial. The police executed a search warrant and found our client in possession of heroin along with a digital scale and pieces of foil.

Attorney Chuck Bretz successfully defended a police officer charged with Domestic Battery while he was off duty. Bretz, knowing the charge and accompanying Order of Protection would severely impact the officer's ability to work and carry a firearm, moved swiftly upon being retained.

Chuck Bretz & Associates is proud to announce that after a week long trial and two weeks of deliberations, a Will County jury found our client not guilty of Murder, Attempted Murder and Home Invasion. Chuck Bretz was successful in arguing that the client was not at the scene of the crime.

Chuck Bretz and Associates secured a not guilty to for a felony client, charged with two counts of theft. The client, who has several felonies in his background, was charged with stealing property from his job.

Marcos Camargo was charged with First-Degree Murder in 2009. The State alleged that a firearm was used in the case, making it so that if Mr. Camargo was found guilty, an additional 25 years would be added to a sentence that ranges from 20-60 years.
